Ten years after the death of Gabriele Basilico, the city of Milan pays tribute to the famous photographer by holding an exhibition at Palazzo Reale and Triennale Milano.
Curated by Giovanna Calvenzi and Filippo Maggia and designed by Umberto Zanetti, ZDA Zanetti Design Architettura, UniFor has been invited to create the exhibition within the spaces of Palazzo Reale.

“The professional relationship, forged between Gabriele Basilico and engineer Piero Molteni began in the 1980s and has always been based on deep mutual respect. UniFor relied on Gabriele’s work for the documentation of its own furnishings and projects, which Gabriele greatly appreciated. The company was by his side for the staging of exhibitions and the publication of books. The episode I remember, quite emotionally, is a dialogue I witnessed in which Gabriele asked engineer Molteni if he was interested in supporting a publishing project of a dear friend. At that moment, I saw an almost resigned smile appear on the engineer’s face, which then melted into one of decisiveness: the friend’s book had found a friend. To mark this important new event at the Palazzo Reale, UniFor is once again at Gabriele Basilico’s side with a generosity and quality of collaboration for which this time emotions are truly inevitable.”
