With the opening of the new Molteni&C|Dada Shop-in-Shop in Vancouver, in partnership with Living Space, the Molteni Group continues the strategic expansion of its Canada sales network. The new space will be inaugurated on Wednesday 23rd May 2019 with a Grand Opening.
Livingspace, global leader in luxury home design unveils 30,000-square-foot Shop-in-Shop, celebrating 30 years of business this May with the grand reveal of a $2-million expansion and renovation.
Housed in a 1930’s-era printing factory in the Armoury District of Vancouver, Livingspace has added the fifth floor to its Shop-in-Shop, which features an unexpected rooftop garden courtyard and brings the store’s footprint to an impressive 30,000 square feet. The new level showcases the Italian brand Molteni&C|Dada offering a more refined and intimate experience as you move through the space with individual room-like settings revealing the latest in kitchens, closets and furniture.
The over 300 sq. m of the new Molteni&C|Dada space develops at the top level. It is inspired by the architecture of a family mansion.
Distinguishing elements of the space include the transparencies created by huge windows, a signature feature of the Belgian designer and now an established part of Molteni&C|Dada’s coordinated image, along with the strong walnut beams.
Living areas converse with dining areas and open onto a spacious and visually impressive VVD kitchen. The night-time area features the Gliss Master collection in various finishes and compositions.
The space is defined by alternating volumes and heights while an interplay of lights and colours and colours defines the various rooms.
The new Shop-in-Shop showcases some of the most recent Molteni&C|Dada collections by Belgian designer Vincent Van Duysen, the creative director of the two brands, as well as items by Gio Ponti, Rodolfo Dordoni, Ron Gilad, Francesco Meda, Dante Bonuccelli and Nicola Gallizia.
