Zaha Hadid Architects with interiors curated by ACPV Architects

When Bee’ah, the sustainability pioneer based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, commissioned its new headquarters, the ambition extended beyond the creation of a workplace to encompass a holistic vision of environmental responsibility and architectural expression. Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects with interiors curated by ACPV Architects, the building’s fluid geometry establishes a dialogue between form, function, and landscape — a complex project entrusted to UniFor’s technical precision and bespoke expertise.

Developed in close coordination with the architectural team, UniFor’s intervention translates the building’s sinuous language into a coherent system of workstations, storage elements, and collaborative environments. Standard solutions, including the iSatelliti S200 system, are integrated with fully bespoke components, ensuring continuity between architectural form and workplace function.

The workstations are defined by a distinctive “butterfly” configuration, conceived to engage directly with the flowing geometry of the interior spaces. Organized around a central structural core that houses all electrical and technical components, the height-adjustable systems combine operational efficiency with a clear and ordered visual rhythm within the open-plan environment.

Executive workstations extend this approach through shaped tops, edged in stained solid oak, and supported by custom-engineered motorized structures. Developed in both left- and right-hand configurations, these elements integrate seamlessly with pedestal units and refined detailing, reflecting a high level of engineering precision in response to complex formal requirements.

Storage systems are conceived as an integral architectural layer, with both single- and double-sided credenzas defined by curved oak-veneered doors, pivoting hinges, and laminate tops. Supported by custom platinum anodized steel feet, these elements combine material consistency with functional clarity, aligning closely with the language of the workstation systems.

Collaborative areas are organized around bespoke meeting tables alongside clustered workstations composed of 4- and 6–8-position configurations. These clusters, whether elongated or round, are defined by edged tops, microperforated acoustic panels, and integrated access elements, establishing a balance between collective interaction and individual concentration.

Across the project, from executive zones to operational work areas and meeting rooms, UniFor’s tailored systems operate in dialogue with the architecture, while elements such as iSatelliti S200 further reinforce flexibility and technological integration. Achieving LEED Platinum certification, the Bee’ah headquarters embodies a synthesis of sustainability, advanced engineering, and spatial coherence.
