Located just steps from Buckingham Palace in London, UK, Casa Italia is set within a Victorian property spanning nearly 2,000 square metres. Designed as a vibrant, international meeting point for Italian and foreign dignitaries, cultural and business leaders, academics, journalists, and other key stakeholders, the interior project was curated by Nick Vinson, featuring contributions from Molteni&C, UniFor and Citterio.
1階に位置する「Eugenio Montale Library」では、ダンテ・ボヌッチェリによるUniForのCFシェルビングシステムが採用されています。シルバーラッカー仕上げの床から天井まで伸びるモジュール構造が空間全体を包み込み、展示されたアート作品と空間の垂直性を際立たせています。
中央には、ジャン・ヌーヴェルによるシルバーラッカー仕上げのLess Lessテーブルが2台配置され、読書や研究のための場を形成しています。そこにマイケル・アナスタシアデスによる123チェアが組み合わされ、控えめで現代的なエレガンスを感じさせる空間が生まれています。また、ジオ・ポンティによるアイコニックなD.151.4アームチェアには、LSMによるAndromedaコレクションのテーブルが合わせられています。このシリーズは待合室にも採用され、楕円形のトラバーチントップテーブルが、ヴィンセント・ヴァン・ドゥイセンによるAugustoソファとともに配置されています。2つの空間は、CitterioによるWood Wallのダブルスライディングパーティションによって緩やかに仕切られ、透明感と空間の連続性が保たれています。
建物全体のワークスペースには、UniForの家具が統一感あるデザインをもたらしています。S200昇降式ワークステーションは、シングル、ダブル、マルチユニット構成で1階から3階まで設置されており、赤、青、緑、黄色といった鮮やかなカラーパレットによって各エリアの機能や個性が表現されています。

Molteni&C Dada Engineered custom kitchens and bathroom designs are featured throughout Herzog & de Meuron’s & Alexico Group’s addition to the New York City skyline at 56 Leonard Street. In a metropolis known for its diversity, international luminaries team up on this 57-story residential tower in Manhattan's Tribeca neighborhood, comprising 146 residences including 10 penthouses reaching skywards.
